A person with a mobility disability needs a fence-line feeder so they can feed animals without entering the pen where it is difficult to maneuver and walk. Hungry animals bump and push farmers as they carry feed through the pen. If the farmer has a mobility impairment, they are likely to be knocked over or injured by the animals. The ground surface in the pens are often rough or slippery to walk on.
You can build a fenceline feeder with 2×4’s and plywood with plans from Premier Supply. Tools needed will be a saw, cordless drill, screws, hammer and nails.
